"Is Progressive Crossover a genre? Probably not, right? like, that doesn't seem like a thing that exists. Isn't that sort of an oxymoron? Like, you know how Crossover is basically "metallic" punk, sort of? yeah yeah, so like, how do you have progressive punk? The whole point is that its crusty and raw, for PETE'S sake. But also, I guess I never really thought about what "PROG" means... is it Rush, is it DJONT? (haha dJoNt is just 0010001 AM I RIGHT?). Maybe Prog doesn't necessarily imply "clean" and "perfect" as much as it means "experimental" though? But hold up, some bands call themselves "Experimental" that don't call themselves Prog, so...
Maybe this is "Experimental Death Thrash?" Also yo, since when did this band have screamy vocals? THRASH METAL ISNT SUPPOSED TO HAVE """SCREAM-O""" SINGERS. IN FACT, BACK IN 1983, THE BAY AREA SCE..."
this is a Progressive Death Thrash track about the horrors of American for-profit imperialism and it's disregard for human lives. I MEAN. It's about an alien invasion and nothing else.

Found these guys sophomore year of high school (shortly after LOaE was released) via Spotify recommendation. Hit a pretty bad depression Jan 2021. “Aint Feelin No Pain” was a major factor in my recovery. Messaged the band on Instagram and was given a response ill never forget. Was luckily enough to meet the guys at their show with Mother Iron Horse and Bloodlightning at The Middle East. Most down to earth and sociable dudes I’ve ever met. Dawson

As a fan of Funeral Doom, which isn't a common genre to find, this album is very highly recommended by me. If you are a fan of Esoteric or other more progressive Funeral Doom bands, you will appreciate this offering. malelude
